This is a translation. If the Greek and English versions differ, the Greek version prevails.
The “EyesLocked” app (Verticom — Dimitrios P. Giannikos) is strictly for adults, aged 18 and over. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards any material or conduct involving child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE).
1. Zero tolerance
The following are expressly prohibited and lead to immediate, permanent account closure:
Any child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or material that sexualises minors.
Any attempt to groom, approach or communicate with a minor in a sexual way.
Human trafficking, extortion using sexual material (sextortion), or the promotion of such material.
Use of the service by a minor, with or without a false statement of age.
2. How we prevent access by minors
The app is distributed on Google Play to 18+ audiences only, with the restriction on minor access enabled, and on the App Store with an 18+ age rating.
A date of birth is required at sign-up. If you are under 18, the account is not created.
The date of birth is locked after it is first entered, so the age limit cannot be bypassed with a second attempt.
When a report or one of our checks shows that the user is a minor, the account is closed immediately and the data is deleted.
3. How to report — inside the app
Every user can report anyone without leaving the app: from their card, from the match or from the chat. One of the reporting reasons is explicitly “Appears to be a minor”. A report can be combined with a block in the same tap.
We review it and, in cases involving minors, it takes priority.
As soon as we establish CSAE: we remove the content, permanently close the account and preserve the information the authorities need.
We report the incident to the competent authorities: in Greece to the Cyber Crime Division of the Hellenic Police (Διεύθυνση Δίωξης Ηλεκτρονικού Εγκλήματος, cyberalert.gr, tel. 11188) and, as appropriate, to NCMEC or the relevant national authority.
Reports are kept even if the reported user deletes their account, so that the evidence is not lost.
5. Compliance
We comply with Greek and European law on the protection of minors, Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (DSA), the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy and Apple’s App Review Guidelines.
