This is a translation. If the Greek and English versions differ, the Greek version prevails.
“EyesLocked” shows you which other users are at the same venue as you right now (bar, café, club) and, if you are mutually interested, lets you talk. Your presence expires on its own; it is not a directory of people and keeps no history.
The provider is Verticom — Dimitrios P. Giannikos (sole proprietorship; in Greek: Δ. Γιαννίκος Παν. Δημήτριος), Evmolpidon 23, 118 54 Athens, Greece, Tax ID (ΑΦΜ) 044041981, email info@verticom.gr.
By creating an account you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
You accept these rules before you upload anything. The following are prohibited:
Anyone, even without an account, can report to us content they consider illegal, under Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (DSA), at info@verticom.gr. Tell us:
We confirm that we received your report and tell you what we decided and how you can challenge it.
If we remove your content, or restrict or close your account, we send you a statement of reasons by email: what measure we took and from when, which facts led to it, which rule of these terms or which law it breaches, whether automation was used, and how you can challenge it. The only exception is where an authority prohibits us or where informing you would harm a criminal investigation or the protection of a minor.
Appeal: within 6 months, free of charge, by writing to info@verticom.gr. It is reviewed by a person who did not take the original decision, and we reply within 14 days. If you are right, we reverse the measure.
An appeal does not take away any other route: you can always go to the courts, to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr) or to the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT), which is the Digital Services Coordinator in Greece.
If someone repeatedly sends manifestly unfounded reports or appeals, we may, after warning them, temporarily stop processing them.
The app does not check the identity, criminal record or statements of any user. Being at the same venue, with people around, helps — but it is not a guarantee. You decide whether and how you meet someone. When you meet someone:
In an emergency, call 112. For domestic or gender-based violence: helpline 15900. And report the user from within the app.
Whatever you upload remains yours. You only give us a non-exclusive licence to display it within the service, for as long as you have an account, so that other users can see you. We do not use it for advertising or to train artificial intelligence systems. When you delete your account the licence ends — except for whatever we must keep for a safety report (see the privacy policy).
You confirm that you have the right to upload whatever you upload.
Today the app is free and has no subscriptions. If we add paid features, the following will apply, and you will see it before you pay:
You can stop whenever you want: delete your account from within the app or from here, at no cost.
We may close your account if you break these terms or the law, if you are a minor, or if the law requires us to — always with a statement of reasons and the possibility to appeal (§6).
If we discontinue the service altogether, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance.
We do everything reasonable to make the service work properly and safely, but we cannot guarantee that it will never be interrupted.
We are not liable for what users do to each other, inside or outside the app, unless we became aware of illegal content or conduct and did not act as we should have.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or for anything the law mandatorily provides. Your rights as a consumer (Greek Law 2251/1994 and Directive (EU) 2019/770) apply in full.
We change the terms only when required by law, a technical need or a change to the service. For a material change we notify you in the app and by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you can delete your account at no cost before the change takes effect. Changes in your favour apply immediately. Where new consent is needed, we ask you for it separately — we do not assume it because you keep using the app.
Greek law and European Union law apply, without you losing the protection given to you by the mandatory provisions of the country where you live. As a consumer you can bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence. There is no mandatory arbitration.
For out-of-court resolution you can contact the Consumer Ombudsman (Συνήγορος του Καταναλωτή, synigoroskatanaloti.gr).
Single point of contact for users and for the authorities of the Member States and the European Commission (Articles 11 and 12 DSA): info@verticom.gr. A person replies, not an automated system. Languages of communication: Greek, English.
